If you’re wanting to do a little hoeing and sowing while you’re going, then you’ll soon be able to do this on something other than a Nintendo Switch. The long in development PlayStation Vita version of Stardew Valley is coming out next week on 22nd May.
The last update we had on the port came at the end of 2017, but it’s great to see it finally make the jump to Vita. Even better than that, it’s a cross-buy title for those who’ve bought the game on PlayStation 4, so you get it for free. However, you won’t have the multiplayer functionality that is coming to consoles with the eventual 1.3 updates.
That multiplayer update is currently in open beta testing on PC, and will head first to Nintendo Switch before spreading to PS4 and Xbox One later down the line.
