Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Seems To Have Leaked Via A Keychain

A couple of days ago a post on the very naughty 4chan site listed information for a new Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

We’re in the pre-E3 hoax period (a sheet of A4 with Nintendo printed at the top – come on try harder!) so there are plenty of scamps trying to trick us, we need cold hard proof before posting any rumours. Fast forward to today when this little trinket was spotted by Jeux-Video.

Now that’s either very intricate hoax, or one of Ubisoft’s big E3 announcements has leaked.

The 4chan post suggest the game is set during the Flavian Dynasty in Grrece and has two playable characters. Social steath returns, asn the does the Brotherhood and Renovation systems. There will be mythical beasts and – huzzah! – naval battles return! There will also be improvements to crafting, customisation, and replayable missions will return.

It is sad the game will return this Christmas.

Do you want me to make some sarcastic comment about how it’s not sad, and it’s not christmas without an AC game to spread festive joy? Or do you want to quietly edit that?

    “naval battles return”

Actually, you might have been right. Who keeps asking for all that naval battle nonsense?

I love the naval stuff. Renovation will be a welcome return. Rebuilding Monteriggioni in AC2 was so satisfying. Hated seeing it all destroyed in Brotherhood.

I’d love to see them expand on the past renovation systems and allow you to build your own base of operation and protect it from attack.

    What?

  3. Although I had had enough of AC at least 3 games ago, I wish all these games would stop being leaked/ announced before E3 ! Ruining the excitement of it !
