Respawn’s Star Wars Game Is Called Jedi Fallen Order

Vince Zampella from Respawn has just appeared at the EA play show and has revealed the name of their next game, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. The game will be set between episodes III and IV, “a dark time for the Jedi”, and he confirmed that you will be playing a a light saber waving Jedi.

The game has been in production for a good few years but EA are not ready to show anything of the game, and you’ve got bit of wait before it hit’s the shelves and as it won’t be out until Christmas 2019. Zampella said that we can expect more at E3 2019.

Stig Asmussen, director of the original God of War game, is heading up the project which is said to be a third person action game. The official website is now live but there’s nothing on it other than this description:

From Respawn Entertainment comes a brand-new action adventure game which tells an original Star Wars™ story around a surviving Padawan set shortly after the events of Star Wars™: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith™. The game will be releasing Holiday 2019. Sign up for our newsletter to be among the first to learn more about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

  1. Ticks all the right boxes so far. I’m praying for something between Force Unleashed and KotoR. YES PLEASE.

    • That would be perfect, I really hope we can travel between planets ourselves too. Battlefront 2’s story scratched an itch but I feel like I’ve still been waiting for whatever this, whatever it ends up being, for way too long. Even if it ends up being Rebels I’ll be happy. Well, as long as it’s good, offline and doesn’t have loot crates. Star Wars!!
