After a lot of speculation and demand there has been confirmation at EA Play that Star Wars Battlefront II will be getting The Clone Wars content, which means new heroes and villains. The big one is that Obi-Wan Kenobi will finally be in the game but that isn’t all. General Grievous, Anakin Skywalker, and Count Dooku have also been confirmed for The Clone Wars season. No news of Ahsoka Tano though.
One of the new locations will be Geonosis which is where the Clone Wars began with the Battle of Geonosis. There will be more details given closer to the time of release. In addition other modes were announced including Starfighter Assault mode focused on more head to head battles.

Geonosis was one of my favourite Battlefront 2 maps – so I’m sure this one will be awful, like the Bespin one is to the one in the original game…
