Richard Marks should be a familiar name to Sony fans, he has worked at the company for the last twenty years as part of PlayStation’s Magic Lab, a special team of people who prototyped new tech for use with PlayStation consoles.
Richard helped created a number of products that went all the way to market including EyeToy, PlayStation Move, and PlayStation VR. He is moving over to work for Google in their Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) department. Rumour has it that Google are working on some sort of streaming console.
Former PlayStation exec Phil Harrison also moved to Google last year and welcomed Marks to the company with a tweet.
Delighted that Richard Marks is joining Google. Exciting addition to the ATAP team!
