There’s not many feel good stories that start with a long running game series not living up to publisher expectations and the decision to sell or shut down a studio, and yet that’s exactly what we’ve had for Hitman 2. IO Interactive were able to save themselves, retain the rights to the Hitman series, and penned a publishing deal with Warner Bros.
The end of this journey is now in sight as Hitman 2 has gone gold ahead of its release on 13th November for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Building on the foundations of the 2016 series, the game’s announcement previewed its new Miami location, which has since been followed up with the reveal of Colombia. You’ll be able to play both of these and the other four locations in the game on day one, as IO and WB have quite sensibly ditched the episodic release format of the previous game.

Can’t wait, been playing this series since Hitman 2: Silent Assassin on PS2. Bet inventive series, the last one was one of the best, even though it was episodic (I waited for the complete disc edition). Really can’t wait for this.
