THQ Nordic Buys Coffee Stain And Bugbear

THQ Nordic have raided their seemingly bottomless bank account again and bought a couple more development teams. Goat Simulator kings Coffee Stain Studios were first on their list with THQ purchasing the entire company and all it’s games, including Satisfactory, Sanctum, and the many variations of that goat game.

They have also shelled out for 90% of Bugbear Entertainment with the option to buy the last 10%. Bugbear are perhaps less well known but have recently released Wreckfest, and also worked Flat Out 4 which I thought was rather good.

The news was announced alongside the frankly ridiculous news that  net sales for THQ rose a staggering 1,403% to $139.5 million.

THQ Nordic have recently bought Deep Silver, plus the Kingdoms of Amalur, Timesplitters, and BioMutant IPs.
