Demolition Derby And PvP Come To The Crew 2 Next Week

A second big free update for The Crew 2 is set to drop next week on 5th December, introducing a demolition derby mode to the game. Considering I’ve just been playing Demolition Derby on the PlayStation Classic, Ubisoft’s timing is impeccable.

The new discipline has to you earning points in a car crashing bonanza, with the goal of getting on the podium. There’s four DD-specific cars and two new arenas being added to the game to support this: the Bonneville Salt Flat and at the Tucson aircraft cemetery.

Alongside that, though, the game is finally getting the PvP racing mode that was promised prior to the game’s launch. Up to eight players can race head to head across different disciplines, trying to rank up and enter PvP leagues for bigger rewards.

Lastly, the update throws a bunch of new contests and challenges to tackle, while the monthly vehicle drop adds the Audi RS3 LMS 2017 and the Aeroboat VS12 2018.
