Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Expansion Coming Autumn 2019

Capcom has revealed some upcoming content for Monster Hunter World, with the big announcement of a huge expansion coming in summer 2019 which goes by the name Iceborne. Not too much detail has been given away but this expansion will add a whole new area to explore, a bunch of new monsters to hunt, new quests to tackle, new equipment, and a new difficulty rank.

That’s not all though. A collaboration has been announced that brings a certain character who is known for hunting monsters to the realm of Monster Hunter World. Yes, Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher series finds himself in this land of monsters after stepping through a portal. This will be a free quest line that will be added to Monster Hunter World in early 2019, and you can watch the teaser below.

A trial version of the game will also be available to download from December 11th until December 17th, with all progress carrying over should you choose to buy the full title.
