Blind Squirrel Games are teasing something with a countdown, probably a remastered Borderlands

Blind Squirrel Games have worked on an awful lot of games, although they have ‘helped out’ rather than been the main developer on titles such as Prey and They Sims 4. They’ve also got a name for themselves when it comes to porting games and were behind the Bioshock collection on PS4 and Xbox one.

For the past couple of days their Twitter feed has been counting down to a reveal, the imagery does look similar to that of Fallout’ but they have denied they are porting one of the older games, “As hilarious as that would be, definitely not.”

They money is on the original Borderlands, a remaster of which popped up on ratings boards in Taiwan with Blind Squirrel listed as the developers way back in May 2017.

I’m not sure how many people would want to play the original Borderlands again, the sequel is a much better game and we already have that current consoles, plus version of PS Vita and PlayStation VR. Would you be buying a remaster?

UPDATE: It’s not Borderlands! Curse them! It’s Drifters!

  1. Is Borderlands 2 that much better? It’s just more of the same, with added tinkle-juice. And without the horrible framerate issues the original game had on the PS3.
