From the team that made the brilliant Sonic Mania animated shorts, the two part Team Sonic Racing Overdrive finally gives us a good reason for putting Sonic in a car.
Just kidding, it does nothing of the sort, but it is another cute little cartoon that will make you feel queasy with how adorably humorous it is. It features Team Sonic, Team Rose and Team Dark, with another diabolical Dr. Eggman plan being hatched.
Alongside this, Sega also showed off a new trailer for all the customisation options that will be available in the game.
Team Sonic Racing is out on 21st May for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Between Mario Kart 8 and the upcoming Crash Team Racing remake I shouldn’t give a damn about this… my son however is Sonic mad so I suspect we will end up with a copy before the year is through.
