Team Sonic Racing has a new trailer and a release date

I think I’ve figured out why Sonic sometimes hops in a car and drives: it’s easier. Just like you could jog for 15 minutes to get to the shops, it’s less physical effort to drive. Makes sense, right? Also it’s a video game character, so why do people care about this so much?

The latest game to put Sonic in a car, Team Sonic Racing, has a fresh new release date of 21st May, where it will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Team Sonic Racing is all about racing with Sonic and his friends and enemies… in teams. It’s been a while since Sumo Digital released a Sonic Racing game, but for this outing they’ve tried to overhaul the gameplay mechanics in a new direction, giving boosts for playing together and making use of team dynamics. It’s a really interesting mix and, considering their pedigree with the Sonic & All-Stars Racing games, we’re definitely curious to see where this is heading.
