Last week Ubisoft’s For Honor was the target of sustained DDOS attacks that meant players could not access the game’s servers so couldn’t get online. A bit of a problem when For Honor is a game that revolves around online multiplayer. Ubisoft has acknowledged what happened and as a result will be offering in-game compensation to all players that have been active in the last 30 days across all platforms the game is available on.
The compensation shall consist of 250 steel and 3 XP boosts. That will be rolling out at 2PM EDT which is 7PM BST.

As you can imagine the replies to that tweet are full of gratitude. For Honor has received a couple of updates over the last month and you can read the patch notes both here and here. The majority of the updates were to balance the fighters.
