Seven extra games added to the PC Engine CoreGrafx Mini console

Konami have added seven new games to the fifty previously announced titles installed the PC Engine CoreGrafx Mini console, including the classics Splatterhouse and Galaga ‘88. Here are the seven new games.

Dragon Spirit
Galaga ‘8
Seirei Senshi Spriggan
Spriggan mark2
The Genji and the Heike Clans
The Legend of Valkyrie

The mini console is available to pre-order right now and will set you back £100, it’s exclusive to Amazon so follow this link if you fancy grabbing one.

The new console is a smaller version of the original model with a bunch of built in games and a quick save function so you can pick up your game where you left off rather than having to start from the beginning. It will also support five player local co-op, but you will need to purchase an extra bit of hardware called a Multitap to use that feature.

PC Engine CoreGrafx mini will be released in the UK, France and Italy only. Two additional variants will be released in North America and Japan, named TurboGrafx-16 mini and PC Engine mini respectively.
