All services including account management, online gaming, and the PlayStation Store are currently offline and inaccessible. You check the network service status for updates.
Sony has yet to provide an estimated time as to when the PlayStation Network will go back online. It’s worth keeping an eye on the official Ask PlayStation Twitter account for updates.
If you try and access any in-game online features you’ll receive error code NP-35000-8.
Although some online features won’t work you’ll still be able to play games offline. It also seems that update downloads are functioning as normal.
We’ll keep you posted with any news from Sony. Hopefully PSN users won’t have to wait long to get back online.
