No, that’s not some dialogue that was cut from Avengers: Infinity War, it’s the the description for the latest trailer for Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories which is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC early next year.
Tragedy struck just a day before the previous Disaster Report game was meant to launch on PlayStation 3, the most powerful earthquake ever record in Japan thundered in to life off the Pacific coast of Tōhoku on Friday March 11th, 2011. A huge tsunami which wiped entire towns off the map and killed over 28,000 people, and the game was quickly cancelled.
In the intervening years Granzella picked up the licences and it took until November 2018 until the next game, Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories game hit the shelves in Japan. NIS America then stepped in to announce the game would be heading to the West.
Like previous games in the series Disaster Report 4 features a massive earthquake in a densely populated city. You play as a young woman on her way to a job interview when the catastrophic crisis strikes. With aftershocks, fires, and building collapsing, you must escape the city, helping other survivors on the way.
