GT Sport update 1.43 brings wet weather… to a single track

The long-awaited wet weather update for GT Sport is finally upon us with patch 1.43 rolling out today. If you’ve been waiting to go revving in the rain, though, you might need to hold your horsepower just a little bit. The wet weather option is only being added to a single track, the Red Bull Ring.

It does look pretty incredible from the screenshots, but this will be a bit of a disappointment. I guess we can expect to see more tracks updated over the coming months, though.

Almost two years after the game’s original launch, Polyphony Digital have done a fantastic job of continually updating GT Sport and adding to the game. Almost every month has seen the company drop a handful of new cars, new racing challenges and the occasional new track. This month’s update is no different, with five new cars joining the roster:

  • Honda S2000 ’99
  • Nissan Silvia K’s Dia Selection (S13) ’90
  • Toyota Corolla Levin 1600GT APEX (AE86) ’83
  • Subaru Impreza Coupe WRX Type R STi Version VI ’99
  • Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo ’91

Additionally, there’s seven new rounds in the GT League, coming to the J-Sports Meeting and Porsche Cup.
