In staggering news that no one saw coming a little known game called FIFA 20 has rocketed to first place on the week of release with the biggest launch for a game this year. Microsoft put together a bundle featuring the football game, Minecraft, Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 3 for just £169.99 which means those aforementioned games have all had huge sales boosts.
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age lands just outside the top ten at number eleven, Code Vein manages to hit the thirteenth spot but The Surge 2 spluttered rather than surged and only managed to crawl in at the bottom of the chart in thirty-fifth place.
In total 816,985 boxed games were sold last week, but in 2018 FIFA sold that many by itself which shows just how many people are shifting to digital.
