Budget Cuts 2 picks up after the first game, with you now trying to escape the office and into TransCorp territory, hoping to put an end to the titular budget cuts. The game features new environments, new enemies, new gadgets and new challenges for fans of the first game, but is still built around the similar principles of portal-based locomotion and exploration.

The portal-based stealth of Budget Cuts wowed many a VR explorer in the early days of Oculus Rift dev kits and HTC Vive, letting you cast portals and step or draw yourself through them to move around the levels. That’s been difficult to translate to PSVR, it seems, but developers Neat Corporation have been working with Coatsink to bring the original game to PSVR. Last we heard, this was still in the works, but the last we heard of that was a tweet back in June.

For now, Neat Corp themselves are obviously focussed on the sequel, and PSVR owners can simply keep their fingers crossed for more details on the original and/or sequel soon.
