GRID Season One will be starting in early December

Codemasters has confirmed GRID’s Season One content will start becoming available from December 4th with the release of the Hot Hatch Showdown pack. This will pack will add four cars to the vehicle roster including the Renault Clio s1600, Mini Hatch JCW, Lancia Delta HF Integrale Super Hatch, and Audi S1 Quattro Concept. Most of this content will only be available to those who bought the Ultimate Edition of GRID or choose to upgrade to that version, but the Renault will be available as a loan car in free play multiplayer. Season One is adding an additional 33 challenges too.

That’s not all players will get as the Paris track will be added for all players across all game modes, and it will feature three different layouts. If you’re yet to play GRID you can check out what Thomas thought below:

GRID is an enjoyable racing game for those who want to enjoy some close racing without worrying about camber angles. The market needs games like this to provide light and shade. I was hoping this new GRID would be a fresh start, but it’s last night’s takeaway re-heated. I enjoy leftovers – cold pizza is one of life’s great pleasures – but that doesn’t make the perfect racing game when the rest of the world has moved on.

  1. I’m glad there’s new content coming as I’ve completed every event and only got one trophy to go, the one driving the equivalent around the earth.
