Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered delayed until Summer 2020

Back in 2018 Square Enix confirmed a remaster for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and then in September of this year stated that this remaster would be released in January 2020. That date was a short delay from the initial 2019 window previously given, but now the January date will not be be either. Taking to Twitter the official Final Fantasy account tweeted that the team was thankful for the support, but Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered would now be released in Summer 2020. The reason for this was that the team needed more time for development.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered has been confirmed for release on PS4, Switch, iOS, and Android. Players will be able to transfer their saves between the different platforms as well as play online with friends. In addition, Characters will have voiceovers for when they’re casting spells and there will be brand new items to customize the cast of characters with.
