In earth shattering news that no one could have predicted, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the UK number one this Christmas. Sales have jumped 42% compared to last week as uncles finally got round to Amazoning their nephews Christmas presents (yes, this is partly my fault, but they did specifically ask for COD).
FIFA 20 is to be a popular last minute gift with sales surging 73% and holding in second place with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order retaining third position. Both Crash titles are racing (aha!) back in to the charts as grandmas who have no idea about video gaming totter in their local GAME and pick the box with the most cheerful cover.
Just Dance 2020 is the surprise Christmas hit, last year’s title barely bothered the charts but this year it is doing really well on Nintendo Switch. Further down the charts Death Stranding is bouncing back to No.13 and PlayStation VR games litter the lower half of the top forty.
