Happy New Year!

As Big Ben has tolled at midnight once more, it’s the start of a new year and a new decade for the UK. If you’ve braved the night to go out partying, have been relaxing at home or are unfortunate enough to be working right now, I’d like to wish you all a Happy New Year!

2019 was pretty good one for TheSixthAxis. We got a brand new look in February, were able to host some great new writers, and have had more and more of you visiting us through the last twelve months. We’ll obviously be hoping to carry that through to an exciting new year of gaming.

In that regard at least, the future is looking pretty rosy. We’ll be getting to see this current generation of home console going out with bang thanks to the likes of The Last of Us Part II and Cyberpunk 2077 (while Switch owners will be able to while away the time with Animal Crossing), but the next generation of home consoles will also bring its fair share of exciting new games in the not too distant future.

But for now, let’s just soak in the celebrations as we enter the 2020s. From all of us at TheSixthAxis, I’ll say it again: Happy New Year!
