EA and Respawn Entertainment have rolled out a new patch for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which is now available to download.
Update 1.08 has gone live for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. There are no official patch notes available – this looks to be a small update which fixes some trophy and achievement bugs players have been reporting.
Some users have claimed that specific collectables had not been popping, impeding their trophy progress.
Here’s what EA Community Lead, Andrew Johnson, said regarding update 1.08:
The team has released a small patch for #JediFallenOrder today, which is now live on all platforms. The patch fixes a rare issue some players were having completing a specific Trophy/Achievement. pic.twitter.com/XXnFLFrhNo

Star Wars and EA – what game comes next?
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launched last November to very positive reviews. The Respawn title is currently sitting on an impressive OpenCritic average of 83, also picking up a mighty 8/10 in our own review. Given Respawn’s track record as a studio which delivers top tier first person shooters, we were surprised to see them apply that same magic to a melee-focused action adventure game:
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is exactly the kind of single player game we had originally hoped to see when EA and Disney joined forces. Even if you strip away the license, you’re left with a super satisfying mix or combat, story, and exploration, deftly crafted by a studio best known for spearheading an entirely different genre.
EA have yet to announce their next Star Wars game though will continue to hold the license until 2023. That said, last week a PlayStation Network bot unearthed a hidden store listing for Star Wars: Project Maverick. Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has confirmed this is the game being worked on by EA Motive. Hopefully an announcement isn’t too far off though an E3 reveal is now off the table.
