I Am Dead announced by the creators of Hohokum and Wilmont’s Warehouse

Annapurna Interactive revealed I Am Dead today, a puzzle adventure game that’s set to explore the afterlife when it arrive for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam later this year.

The game follows the story of Morris Lupton, the recently deceased museum curator on the island of Shelmerston. As he’s reunited with the ghost of his dog Sparky, he discovers that disaster is about to befall the island, the pair having to stop a volcano from erupting and consuming their former home.

There’s a wonderful sense of style and charm to the trailer, which you’d expect considering its developers. Hollow Ponds and Richard Hogg are teaming up, best known for their respective work on Hohokum and Wilmont’s Warehouse.

For fans of quirky indie adventures, this is sure to be one to keep an eye on when it launches later this year.
