Lucid Games has released a tease of what players can expect in the first year of Destruction AllStars, with that being a new character and the start of seasons. The first season is called Hot Shots and it will run from April until September. According to Lucid Games, this season’s theme is focused on characters that spend a lot of time in the spotlight of the news and social media.
In the Destruction AllStars seasons one of the main additions, aside from the new character, will be the introduction of competitive mode. In other words, that is a ranked mode that players have been asking for. A new mode has been created for ranked and that is called Blitz. In Blitz, four teams of three will compete against each other though more details are yet to be revealed by Lucid Games.
Destruction AllStars will have a battle pass introduced with free and premium tiers. The battle pass will grant exclusive cosmetic items for each character. A photo mode will also be added to the game for the single player mode where players can take pictures at any time. When Destruction AllStars goes on sale on April 6th there will be a digital deluxe edition. It will include:
- 1100 Destruction Points
- Lupita Character and Vehicle Skin
- Lupita Emote
- Profile banner set
- In game Avatars set
- Digital Artbook
- 8x Challenge Series
