EG7 has confirmed that MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and GOG on May 27th. The game originally released in December 2019 as an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC. The studio also confirmed that the DLC titled “Heroes of the Inner Sphere” will be available on the same day.
Robin Flodin, CEO of EG7, said:
“We are very excited to also be able to give Xbox and Steam players a good dose of MechWarrior fun. It is also great to be able to present yet another example of the EG7 companies working together to bring a world-class title to market.”
MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries was originally announced back in 2016, with a release date then confirmed in 2019. The game is the first mainline MechWarrior game since the release of MechWarrior 4: Vengeance approximately 20 years ago.
