Wasteland 3 The Battle of Steeltown gets a new overview trailer

InXile Entertainment has released a brand new trailer for Wasteland 3’s first narrative expansion The Battle of Steeltown. This new overview trailer delves into the what Steeltown is and exactly what the situation is that has led the Rangers to making the trip on behalf of the Patriarch. Steeltown is where Colorado gets all of its tech but now nothing is coming down the production line as the workers go on strike and leader Abigail Markham is trying to deal with that as well as raids from bandits. Oh, and the Rangers will have to face off against new robotic enemies too.

The content is designed to fit into both new and current playthroughs – you simply need to have not finished the game – and will give a level-appropriate challenge, with characters that adapt to your decisions made thus far. Wasteland 3 launched last August to plenty of praise. Coming from inXile Entertainment, it’s the last cross-platform game the studio was working on prior to their acquisition by Microsoft in 2018. Wasteland 3 was signed to a publishing deal Deep Silver, though, and so has released across PS4, Xbox One and PC, with ongoing support and content also being cross-platform. The Battle of Steeltown is the first of two planned expansion.

In our Wasteland 3 review, Tom wrote:

Wasteland 3 is a delight to experience with some of the most engaging RPG mechanics in the series to date. Its dense and detailed world is only outshone by the character and its cast of vibrant and wacky characters, who are all brought to life by the introduction of voiced dialogue. If you’re a fan of RPGs, isometric-adventure games or turn-based combat, Wasteland 3 is an absolute must.

Wasteland 3 The Battle of Steeltown will be released on June 3rd for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The price is set at $13.99.
