EA has announced that it will be hosting a digital music festival in The Sims 4, and it is called Sims Sessions. The digital sessions will be available from June 29th until July 7th, and the line up includes Beba Rexa, Glass Animals, and Joy Oladokun. Interestingly, the website for Sims Sessions states the musicians will be perform in Simlish, the language used in The Sims. The Sims Sessions event will be open to all The Sims 4 players.
During The Sims Sessions event players will be able to purchase merchandise, sell their own craft, and wander to around the food stands. There will be stages set up where player characters can gather around to watch the performances of the Beba Rexa, Glass Animals, and Joy Olatunde, as well as go and perform themselves when the acts leave. Player’s Sims will also be able to camp out at the digital festival grounds where, according to EA, you can “get some sleep in one of the tents—or Woohoo to the music.” Cheeky.
Most recently, the next major expansion for The Sims 4 was announced and that is The Sims 4: Cottage Living. This expansion will add even more gameplay elements including farming, foraging, shopping in the local market, and having a drink in the local The Gnome’s Arms pub. Players will also be able to befriend the local animals which will bring gifts once the bond is high enough. The Sims 4 Cottage Living Expansion Pack will be out on 22nd July, with a princely price of $39.99.
