Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania gets a brand new gameplay trailer

SEGA has released a brand new trailer for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania which shows gameplay from of the remastered levels that will make up the collection. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is essentially a remaster of Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2, and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, with the game featuring more than 300 stages. You can check out the brand new gameplay trailer below.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania will feature local multiplayer with support for up to four players, as well as online leaderboards. Aside from the main stages there will be 12 minigames as well, and a brand new time attack mode. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania seems to have come from the success of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz remaster. When that was released Masao Shirosak, director of the game, said:

“When considering how to bring Super Monkey Ball to modern platforms with the limited time and budget we had, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz was the most reasonable option. 13 years ago was before I joined Sega; I’m really grateful for the fans who still support the Monkey Ball series after all these years, and who motivate me to create only the best for them.”

“And of course, I am aware that the most favoured titles are the first two games. If there is enough support for Banana Blitz HD, this will open up doors for remaking the first two games or even a whole new title to the series. But for now, I’d be happy if everyone has fun playing Banana Blitz HD.”

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania will be released on October 5th for  PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
