A young man has invaded the stage of German game show Schlag en Star (Beat the Star) and demanded an update on Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6. Quite how the shows host, Alexander “Elton” Duszat, would know anything about the unannounced game is unclear. Maybe he’s a secret Rockstar employee.
The man, self-identified as ‘Taser’, jumps on the stage and asks “I would like to know where the hell GTA 6 is? I’ve been waiting for GT6 for six years.” He then demands the clearly shocked hosts addresses the camera to give his answer. “I have no idea, it’s not up to me,” explains Elton. Taser then demands Elton shouts “Where is GTA6!” at the camera but he points out he “hasn’t even finished GTA5 yet.”
Taser (a name I can’t type without thinking of Guardians of the Galaxy’s Taserface) continues to harass the hosts for a few more seconds before being escorted from the stager by a security guard.
Rockstar seem to be in no hurry to make GTA6, but there again they’ve never been in a hurry to make any game. Reports have emerged that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still several years away from release, planned to come out in 2024 or 2025, but with suitably ambitious goals for its game design. GTA6 will feature an expanding game map set in modern day Vice City.
The new reports has come from insider Tom Henderson, whose track record includes leaking details of Battlefield 2042, and has since been corroborated by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier – who said simply “everything Tom Henderson has said about the game matches up with what I’ve heard” – and Video Game Chronicle’s sources.
A GTA Remastered Trilogy consisting of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is reportedly coming to consoles including the Nintendo Switch. Kotaku are reporting that the three remasters are “currently in the final stages of development.” They are citing a source who has previously leaked correct details of updates of GTA Online and Red Dead Online to them.
Now if you’ll excuse me I’m just off to invaded the stage of Pointless and demand Alexander Armstrong tells me when the next Killzone game is coming out.

You’d have more luck asking Richard Osmond, that man knows everything.
