Polyarc have announced that the delightfully cute VR mouse, Quill, will return on PSVR in Spring 2022.

You may have noticed that a number of PSVR games are suddenly launching in early 2022, for example Zenith: The Last City and The Last Worker are also scheduled for that period, heavens knows all these games are lining up for that period. Maybe it’s just a coincidence I certainly don’t have any idea whatsoever. Ahem.

Moss: Book II was announced earlier this year in July with Polyarc Games stating that the game will be picking up right after the end of the first game’s story.

Here’s the blurb:

Quill is back! In Moss: Book II, the story picks up right where things left off following the successful rescue of Quill’s uncle Argus. Your adventure continues with the revelation that a winged tyrant leading the Arcane forces has turned its focus on Quill and is now on the hunt for her within the hexed castle where her uncle was held captive. Lined with dangerous terrain, challenging puzzles, and enemies twisted in fire and steel, Quill’s journey will be trying—filled with triumph and heartbreak alike—but new allies, old friends, and the very nature of the castle itself can help as she works to save the world from a great unmaking.

When we reviewed the original Moss on PSVR, Jim said, “Moss is an absolute joy to play, proving that a great VR experience doesn’t always require that you flail your arms around while fending off bouts of motion sickness. It’s a wonderfully realised puzzle platformer with clever twists, beautiful backdrops, and an adorable hero, making PlayStation VR even more tempting for prospective buyers.”

Will you be picking up the next instalment of Moss’ tail next year? Let us know in the comments!

  1. Loved Moss, but I hope I won’t have to pick up PSVR 2 to play it. Unless there were HL Alyx and Alien:Isolation available on it, then I would.
