Sony have launched their annual PlayStation Wrap Up site which allows you to see just how much time you spent on your PS4 and PS5 during 2021.
The site summarise your total playtime (955 hours for me!) and them breaks things down further. You can see your totally time split between PS4 and PS5, how long you played online, the number of days you turned on your console, and how many hours spent using PlayStation VR. You also get to see how many different games you played and the time split between them.My number one game is Destiny 2 with 644 hours but there’s a surprise in second place as I seem to have played 53 hours of Days Gone.
Trophies get a spotlight with your total shown and then a breakdown of the Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies you have attained.
The site also lists community stats for various games; players have travelled 45 million kilometres in Death Stranding: Directors Cut, played over 12 million hours within Returnal, 26.1% found all the CraiggerBears in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and over 107 million vehicles have been wrecked in Destruction AllStars.
Finally, a PlayStation Plus section lets you know how game were claimable in 2021 (it’s 37) and how many of those you have added to your library.
If you scroll to the bottom of the site you will also be able to claim a personalised avatar pack for to use on your PlayStation.
However, before you dive in there are a few caveats. You must have played at least ten hours last year (I don’t think that will be a problem for most of our readers) but you must have also consented to the collection of “Full Data” in the PlayStation 5 system settings. If you have not allowed that then the site will not work.
You can access the site here.
This year is looking good for PlayStation with God of War and Horizon Forbidden West set to be released. Will they feature in your Wrap Up of 2022?

Well, that’s some scary numbers I don’t want to think about too much.
Guess I’ve got to pick one and try and beat it this year? Is that how this is supposed to work? I’ve got 16 Platinum trophies to beat then.
Apparently, there were 37 monthly PS plus games. And I claimed 38 of them. That’s 103% of the monthly games I’ve claimed. Somehow. I think it’s a bit broken on that one.
Also, don’t try and use the button to redeem the code for your avatar pack. It ends up with an endless attempt at proving you’re human by picking the mouse that can’t get the cheese. Copy the code and redeem it in the store instead. If nobody else has that issue, I guess it’s just me, it’s working properly and I’ve learned something important about myself today.

Also, it seems to be only counting VR hours spent on PS4. One of my top games was 120 hours. For a VR only game that only released in 2021. My total VR time? 58 hours. It’s only counting the time before I got the PS5 in February.

726 hours for me but the number of games played is just five, I’ve played way more than five games in the last year.

The page is a bit a mess, mixing up Personal and general stats. Well, about 460h here, out of which were 0% playing PS5 games (although I had it all year), and only 13h on PSVR. Obviously my PS5 time was not logged, as I played more than the indicated 2h AstroBot and Demon’s Souls. Top games were Division 2 and RE2, which sounds correct to me. I got 264 new trophies, with 2 platinums.

Its not working for me. Says it can’t retrieve some data but I definitely meet the requirements it states, and it worked last year ok…
