Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is getting a re-release as an enhanced version, Nacon and NeoCore Games have confirmed. This updated version of the 2018 release has been enhanced for a release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those who purchase this package will get access to all 25 DLCs already released, plus the new additions for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.

The enhanced edition of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr will include native 4k support, higher resolution textures, improved physics including destructible environments, and cross-gen multiplayer modes. The PS5 version will also utilise the DualSense controller, though details have not been given on how. The new Sororitas class, which was revealed in 2021, will be a separate addition coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions after the initial release.

In our review for the game Jason wrote, “Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr’s final release feels better than it did in Early Access, through a mixture of added polish by Neocore and likely a dose of Stockholm Syndrome on my part. The dark aesthetic and relatively messy combat will likely turn those who aren’t fans of Warhammer 40,000 away, but if you do like the universe and have people to play with, then the procedural generation and promise of ongoing support means that this is a game you can sink plenty of time into.”
