Netflix announce new Dragon Age, Castlevania: Nocturne & more shows

Netflix is all in on video games right now, whether it’s bringing mobile games to its subscribers, or churning out countless animated shows based on video game worlds. The final day of Netflix Geeked 2022 – a part of the Summer Game Fest – featured a whole host of new mobile game (which you can read about here) and a bunch of new TV shows and continuations.

Dragon Age: Absolution will adapt the hit BioWare role-playing game series into an animated show. Here’s the first teaser trailer to give you a little taste. The series is set to debut in December 2022.

Tekken: Bloodlines is adapting the iconic fighting game series, and the latest trailer for this showed off a fan favourite character that will be featured in the show.

Season 2 of The Cuphead Show! will debut on 19th August!

Season 3 of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood will continue Davio the Dragon Knight’s quest to slay all the dragons he can. It’s out on 11th August.

Is that Big the Cat? It is Big the Cat! Big the Cat is in Sonic Prime! Here’s a fresh glimpse of what the Netflix show will look like.

And finally, having been teased last year, Netflix gave us a first look at Castlevania: Nocturne. Set in during the French Revolution, it will follow Richter Belmont as he, you know, hunts vampires and stuff.
