Nintendo has confirmed the rumoured Nintendo Direct for this week, with a livestream set to take place tomorrow, Wednesday 8th February.

The Nintendo Direct stream will kick off at 10PM GMT / 11PM CET / 5PM ET / 2PM PT, and is expected to last roughly 40 minutes.

What will Nintendo be showing, though? Well, the focus will be “mostly” on games coming to Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2023, and that leaves a lot of possibilities. There’s two games already with release dates locked in, which are Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon on 17th March and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on 12th May.

We could also see an update on Pikmin 4, which is set for release this year, and there’s the Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp which has been held back for almost a year now, having been delayed in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last Febraury.

Naturally, Nintendo will also feature third party partners and likely feature an indie game montage.

Nintendo also have some things outside of video games that they might like to remind people about. Super Nintendo World is set to open for the public at Universal Studios Hollywood in California next week on 17th Febraury, while there’s also the Super Mario Bros. Movie, which will debut in theatres in April. I’m sure we’ll see a quick trailer for the Mario movie, unless they’re holding it back to run during the Super Bowl this weekend.

So, make sure to tune in tomorrow night for a big update on the next few months of Nintendo games!
