It feels like no coincidence that temperatures are plummeting across the UK in time for ‘Blue Monday’. I know it’s a marketing gimmick, but the timing is uncanny – I can think of half a dozen places I’d rather be holidaying this week!
Will you be booking a 2024 getaway, or wrapping up warm for some cosy gaming?

Similarly impressed was Stefan, who enjoyed the mechanics and style of upcoming grand strategy game, Solium Infernum.
Last up, What We Played featured Evil West, Street Fighter 6 & Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

Checking in with the community, here’s what some of you have been up to:
- TSBonyman went on a retro spending spree with Arkanoid and Space Invaders Forever, as well as grabbing Carrion, Candle: Flame in the Wind and The Plane Effect.
- And as Andrewww is still on his holidays, he’s been playing more Ghostwire: Tokyo… and getting into a “silly” situation that’s landed him in hospital! Hopefully he’s got a speedy recover ahead of himself, but he’s been enjoying the “one-dimensional Pac-Man” as recommended by Ars Technica.
That’s the week that was. Now, wrap up warm, have a good weekend, and I’ll see you next time!
