Dotemu and developer Old Skull Games have announced Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster, a new Skaven-themed action platformer coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC in 2027.
Taking the Skaven to be protagonists, Deathmaster leans into the scurrying scurrilous assassination that the faction is so well known for. You start the game as a mere killer, but Ratman Vihneek has greater ambitious to rise through the Eshin clan at any cost and become the one and only Deathmaster. This all takes place within the newer Age of Sigmar setting for Warhammer Fantasy, but fans of the Old World will still have plenty to latch onto as well.
The game is a 2D side-scroller, but you’ll still have plenty of sneaking potential, whether it’s passing threats undetected, or taking out any Skaven that stand in your way, and setting traps for those foolhardy enough to walk into them.
