A new trailer for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls has dropped, confirming three new characters who make up the Knights of Doom. As you might expect they are all bad guys, headed by the previously announced Doctor Doom. He will be joined by Magneto,  Green Goblin, and Carnage.

We also get a quick look at a new stage, New York, with Spidey fighting the Green Goblin.

The confirmed roster so far for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls includes Captain America, Iron Man, Ms Marvel, Storm, Star Lord, Ghost Rider, Spider-Man, Peni Parker, Magik, Wolverine, Danger, Hulk, and Black Panther, plus the three new characters revealed today.

Team names will play a part in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, with Amazing Guardians being one of them. The game will feature automatic team name generation that will take into account the characters chosen and Marvel lore. All the names will be on the screen and announced by the ring announcer.

The game has a new narrative mode that Arc System Works is creating in collaboration with Marvel Games. They’ve adapted the narrative, world and characters specifically for this game, blending together the comics and manga, and collaborating with an as-yet-unnamed writer to do so.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will launch on 6th August 2026 for PS5 and PC.
