The puzzle-exploration sequel Pikuniku 2 has been revealed, and this time its quirky adventure is in 3D.
Pikuniku 2 is coming to PC and Switch 2 in 2027
Pikuniku 2 starts with Piku and friends going off on a picnic, only for a sandwich to escape, a boat to get wrecked, and everyone to get split up across an archipelago. So it’s up to Piku to go and find everyone.
Along the way, Piku will meet a bunch of strange people, hear their stories – including stuff about giant fruit, evil robot frogs and an all-powerful potato. There’s also a new deep state conspiracy to unravel.
I thoroughly enjoyed the original Pikuniku, which launched some seven years ago. Miguel also loved it, and said in our Pikuniku review, “My favorite gaming experiences are the ones that elicit a pure and physical response from me. Whether it’s a horror game making me clench my cheeks or a story-driven game dropping my jaw and pulling a tear from my eye, those kinds of experiences are the ones that stick with me the most. With Pikuniku, I was smiling and laughing throughout the entire thing, and too few games get that kind of response out of me. Pikuniku is a treasure of a game, and I can’t wait to see more from this team.”
