I’ll be honest, the signs of exhaustion are already starting to show. We stayed up until a silly time of the night covering the conferences, after spending all day picking up news as it seeped out of E3. After no more than a few hours of sleep, we were back up and into it again before recording this podcast. So mental capacities are diminished, for me, at least.
We talk through the Sony press conference in this hour-long special, highlighting what we liked and what we didn’t like. At one point, I imagined a giant talking bear. It’s that kind of week.
Along with podcast regulars Kris and myself, Greg and Blair returned and Jim made his very first TSA podcast appearance. We discussed everything from Beyond to The Last of Us, touching on the Wonderbooks, Ubisoft partnerships and All Stars Battle Royale announcements as we went.
We’ll be back with another special, all about Nintendo’s show, later tonight. That one is usually the weirdest, not least because we’ll be several hours more sleep-deprived by then.
- As usual, you can grab the MP3 file here (right click to download).
- You might want to get it (when the RSS catches us) on the RSS feed, here.
- Or we’re on iTunes, when iTunes feels like updating. You can also leave us a review and subscribe there, if you want to be particularly lovely.

i expect you lot will be so knackered by the time the nintendo conference rolls around it’ll just be 45 minutes of snoring. ^_^
anyway, they’ve clarified on the blog about the plus stuff, apparently you can download all the titles, and you get to keep them for the length of your sub, it’s just you can only download them until they’re replaced.
i am so going to have to get a bigger hard drive.
hazelam

I was kinda thinking that the player is Ivan in Beyond, would make sense with the odd gameplay mechanics Quantic Dream create.
hazelam
as they’re getting Ellen Page for their game, i’d think they’d have her play the lead character.
YOURMUMANDME
Not necessarily, Ellen as the protagonist but you as Ivan who is the antagonist.
hazelam
that would be a twist, and i wouldn’t put it past Cage. ^_^
