Following the release of Amenadresh back in May, WoH players have been pining for yet another addition to the game’s continually-growing roster of robust characters. If demon-worshipping savages, illiterate Greenskins or sand-swept zombies aren’t your cup of tea, you’ll be happy to hear that Conrad, the Hammer of Sigmar, will be rejoining the game’s cast following tomorrow’s scheduled update.
As a warrior priest of The Empire, Conrad is currently the only hero in BioWare’s free-to-play MOBA to adopt proficiencies in both close-combat and area-healing. His unique cluster of abilities will encourage players to wade directly into the thick of any combat scenario, dealing damage and healing nearby allies simultaneously.
Conrad will be most effective when nested between a couple or more heavy-hitting melee characters thanks to his damage buff support ability, though isn’t completely useless when travelling alone either. Close-range healers are often easy targets for magic users if caught off guard, though Conrad’s silencing capabilities should just be enough to keep him out of such dire situations.
BioWare Mythic has yet to disclose an official launch price, though we can assume Conrad will be available at around the 130-gem mark. Unless the developer decides to change the game’s current pricing template, Conrad will only be available for gold (earned in-game currency) a week after he hits the in-game store.
