2K are teaming up with Turtle Rock Studios, developers of Left 4 Dead and various Counter-Strike content, to bring a brand new IP to next generations. Named Evolve, Game Informer have the exclusive details with in the next issue of their magazine.
It’s a sci-fi multiplayer shooter, with teams of four alien hunters going up against a player-controlled monster which grows and becomes stronger over the course of the games played. Hunters will have their own items and abilities, and the game is being built very much in the same style of Left 4 Dead, with replayability of levels at the forefront of the title.
More details will come in Game Informer’s 12-page reveal, which looks at all of the equipment, the hunters themselves and even the monsters players can use, as well as plenty of hands-on impressions.
The developers describe the game as “an intense experience” and liken it to Predator. They’ve brushed their collaboration with Valve for Left 4 Dead aside, explaining that Evolve is a way to prove their worth single-handedly.
The game will release this fall for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Good luck to them. I look forward to seeing more, after enjoying Left 4 Dead.

Sound like what we wanted Lost Planet to be. Please, let it have split/screen co-op.

That would be perfect, horizontal and verticle options, 4 player.
