Indie developer darling, Mike Bithell, bemoaned the quality of the existing screenshots for his upcoming game, Volume. So he decided to do something about it yesterday afternoon and create a new series of screenshot which better reflect the current state of the game, the engine and the art style.
Starting with a fresh look at Locksley, our masked protagonist:
If you’re after the images for backgrounds, or want to zoom in and examing individual pixels, you can find them on the Volume site. Mike was happy to clarify that this was all done in engine, but that as a top down game, the camera angles aren’t really indicative of how the game will play.

A modern take on the classic Robin Hood story, Volume is on target to hit PlayStation 4 and Vita later this year, as a timed exclusive before making a show on Mac & PC a month or so later.
