Raw Footage Of Volume Released By Mike Bithell

Mike Bithell’s next project, Volume, is looking to bring back core stealth gameplay back, first to the Vita and PS4 then on as many platforms as possible. We’ve had quite a lot of information about the game put out over the last few months from what the story will be about and the cast, to concept art and new screenshots. Now some new, raw footage of Volume has been uploaded to the internet by Mike, showing a minute’s worth of gameplay. The footage can be found by following this link.

The video shows protagonist Robert Locksley navigating different rooms, picking up objects, and distracting the guards. There is quite a lot of camera shake used in the execution of actions, like picking up things and shooting, which Mike may be tweaked as evidenced by a tweet made by the developer.

Other than that Volume does look nice, and I’m personally liking the neon design choices.

  1. I don’t think he wanted people to link to the video.

    • Yeah, the Dropbox link doesnt seem to work anymore, it’s been disabled because it’s being used too much. Anyone got a YouTube link? I canny find one.

  2. The character movement looks ridiculous.
