  1. Some good tweaks there. I filled my storage with blood/bullets before i left the first area, Central Yharnam, then had to leave a lot behind as i found them. Newer areas seem to have less blood vials especially and my stock has been dwindling so the change from 99 to 600 will be welcome. it would be even better if it applied to all inventory items too though.
I’ve levelled up my weapons to blood-chunk-readiness before reaching the areas where blood chunks can be easily farmed so the extra opportunities to grab some will be handy too.
The Insight store availability once unlocked makes more sense now and chalice dungeons should have some more worthwhile rewards – beyond the simple satisfaction that comes with completing them.

    • At least you’re out the first area. I got as far as the two hounds and got my ass handed to me Although,I’ve just worked out how to upgrade my weapons so that’s next on the agenda.

      • If you want we can co op, since there is no level restricted as long as we have same password

      • I’m well past the first area now, but i spent many hours there before i managed to beat the first boss(es). I think it’s good to spend some time there anyway as it works as a training area for the rest of the game – and you can stock up on molotovs while they are cheap ;)
The shorcut back to the lamp isn’t far past those two hounds so you could just run past them, leading them down the steps to the left and running through the doorway that is too small for them to fit through.. *hint-hint* .. ;)

      • I traded the Witcher in for this on Friday. At first I wasn’t sure I’d like it, but I’m really enjoying it now.
It took me literally a whole day to get past first section. Eventually i managed to kill the werewolf hound things on the bridge, then ran down the stairs on the left just behind them.
You may already be aware, but I didn’t realise you have to repair your weapons. From having to hit an enemy once or twice, they were taking about 6-8 hits making it near impossible. So make sure you go to the workbench in the dream place.
To my surprise, all of a sudden I managed to progress quite far today & kill a couple of bosses.

      • Glad to hear you’re enjoying the hunt too Dave :)

      • Great advice TS, will try that tonight.

Taylor, pretty sure I can’t do co-op yet, something to do with not having any insight yet maybe?

      • Correct, you need to find (not defeat) the 1st boss (there are 2 you can find depending what way you explore) and then you’ll be granted insight and the beckoning bell. If you want to be summoned to another game you need the Small Resonant Bell that you have to purchase for one Insight off the Insight Messengers in the Hunters Dream.

It’s a great game, completed 1st run through last week.

      • Insight Messengers? I didn’t realise there were Insight Messengers. Wondered why I couldn’t spend any Insight points. I take it I’ll have to buy the Small Resonant Bell too then in order to join someones game?

      • Thanks for all the tips. Despite getting pretty much nowhere yet, I am loving it. The best thing about it is they just don’t hold your hand at all. You really have to work stuff out yourself and even then that doesn’t always mean much.

Nothing is simple and I love that.

      • A massive help would have been for one of you to tell me that I’ve only being using heavy attack the whole time (R2)without realising R1 was much quicker!!!

        What an idiot.

  2. The Insight Messengers are just outside the middle door near where Gherman is sitting in his wheelchair.

Before this patch you needed 10x insight for it to work but it’s just one insight now.

    • Ok, cheers. I think I’ve got 12 insight points so far. Now I know what they’re for I can spend a few.
