I’ve only just mopped up all the side quests and contracts within The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, because CD Projekt RED’s latest is an incredibly large and detailed game. A part of me wants to go back and make different decisions to get another one of the Witcher 3’s 36 endings, but the grind to do it all again and re-earn equipment is a little bit daunting. Well, for Wild Hunt’s final piece of free DLC CD Projekt RED has announced that a New Game Plus mode is in the works.
NG+, the final FREE DLC, is on the way! Stay tuned. Won’t happen this week – we need a bit more time to finish it. pic.twitter.com/jheuPi94wc

It isn’t quite ready so won’t be out this week, but the next couple of weeks would be my guess for New Game Plus being released. In other news a patch is being worked on to help solve issues within the game, for example frame rate issues on the PS4 version. Again there is no estimate for when such a fix will be released for that either.

I have to confess that I’ve hardly touched this game so far, mainly because CD Projekt RED keeps releasing new patches and DLC, so I’d rather play it once it’s actually finished. :p

No need to hold back here, the game’s been in a much better state right from release than most other games. It just keeps getting better.

I don’t think they meant that it was broken as such, I think they just mean that they would rather play things when everything is available to them rather than in a piecemeal approach as & when content arrives. That being the case, hanging on for a GOTY edition may have been a better idea! ;)

NG+ means you could start over, with no quests being completed, but keep your level and maybe some collected items (but not the quest related ones)..?
But, as far as I know, you can’t finish the storyline, and then clean up the side quests, which I find a shame.
Still, I love the game so far.

Stopped playing on normal as it seemed to get a bit easy. Just about got to the same point on the hardest difficulty and loving it. So much game for your money!
