Hot on the heels of its announcement for PS4, Xbox One and PS Vita at Tokyo Game Show two weeks ago, Bandai Namco have confirmed a European release of the game is also on the way in 2016. There’s no word on a US release at this time, but it can’t be too far behind.
Compared to the Pirate Warriors series, this is a one-on-one fighting game which will let you pit characters from the manga and anime directly against one another. You’ll be able to make use of Logia Devil Fruits and “Haki” in the fights for extra powerful attacks and abilities.
Luffy, Ace, Sabo, Law, Crocodile, Enel, Bartolomeo and Doflamingo have all been confirmed as playable, and we’ll doubtless see more added to the roster as we get closer to release.
