The Game Bakers has announced Furi for PS4 and PC, a beat ’em up where every enemy you face is a boss. The bosses aren’t much more powerful than the main character,l and each fight is like a duel where you’ll have to work out the weakness of the opponent. Before fights your character will walk towards the combat area, and this walk will reveal why you’re about to clash with the person ahead of you.
The battles will be fast paced and mix bullet hell style shooting and sword fighting in close quarters. Takashi Okazaki, Afro Samurai’s creator, had a hand in the visual design of the Furi. The studio is still working on the game, adding more bosses to the roster, meaning Furi will be out in 2016.
