EA has announced that some new content will be released tomorrow for Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, and that it will be free. The content comes in the form of the Graveyard Variety pack, which includes a new map, missions and some gameplay tweaks. The new map itself is the Aqua Center while the The Great North map will be getting a night version.
New missions will be available in Backyard Battleground, including Hide n’ Find & Bot & Pot quests. There have also been some control tweaks, including a classic setting for PS4 owners that allows the changing of the primary fire button, as well as aim sensitivity adjuster for all platforms. Some critical fixes will also roll out as part of the update which you can view below.
- Reduced length of round timer between rounds in Multiplayer matches
- Imp now properly earns XP when in Mech
- Players can now see other players’ Backyard customizations when visiting their Backyard
- Players can now see stats on other players stats boards when visiting their Backyard
- Improved audio for garlic drone primary weapon
- Setting HUD to “Light” now also hides XP Meter
- Major improvements to hit reaction “flinching” animations
- A plethora of quality & bug fixes
